Tough Match

The girls dropped a hard fought match against a very talented St. Mary's School from MD. St. Mary's led 2-0 at the half and the Bengals charged out in the second half and pressured their defense, but could not finish. With 13 minutes left in the game, it was decided to suspend play due to darkness. Next up for the Bengals is the consolation finals tomorrow at 2:00.

Fueled by pasta

After a terrific pasta dinner last night the Bengals defeated home team St. John's College High School 2-0 today. The girls adjusted to the fast turf very nicely and it was a solid effort by all on a hot muggy DC day.
Thanks to our parent fans who made the trip and to Katie C. and Demetra S. for coming to support the team.
We are on the field tonight in the semi-finals at 7:00.

DC trip

After a long van ride, the bengals rolled into DC about 12:30 AM on Thursday evening. Today (Friday) we were off to the Mall where we visited the Air and Space Museum and the National Gallery of Art. It is off to practice on the turf tonight, dinner at an Italian restaurant and back to the hotel to rest-up for tomorrow's games.
